We’re looking to take the first steps towards developing youth netball in the Netherlands — and we need your help.
As we grow our national programme and performance pathways, we also want to start to create opportunities for young players to get involved, develop, and progress in the sport. Youth netball opportunities in the Netherlands are currently limited, but that's exactly what we're aiming to change.

What we're exploring
We are currently exploring the development of:

Youth netball skills sessions (starting in one central location pending interest and looking to expand this as it grows)

Opportunities to connect players with local clubs

Development pathways from beginner level through to performance programmes

Future opportunities for talented players to progress towards national team pathways
Before we can do any of this we first need to understand where interest exists and what opportunities are needed most.

Once we have a clearer picture of interest levels, we'll begin developing a more structured youth programme.
Get involved (volunteers & coaches)
To help make youth netball a reality, we’re looking for people who want to help us build this programme.
You might be:

A coach (experienced or new)

A teacher or connected to a school

A parent willing to help support organisation and events

Someone passionate about growing the sport
This programme can’t happen without volunteers. Netbal Nederland is a fully volunteer run organisation, powered by people who give their time because of their love for the sport and their ambition to grow netball into a recognised national sport in the Netherlands.
To bring youth netball to life, we need the support of parents, coaches, and the wider netball community. Whether you can give a little time or take on a bigger role, your involvement will make a real difference.
